About

Katie Rose Cunin is on the classical ballet faculties for EDGE Performing Arts Center’s open classes and professional certificate programs, for AMDA College & Conservatory’s Dance & Theater Divisions, for Studio School's Commercial Dance BFA Program in DTLA, and a visiting teacher at Millennium Dance Complex, in addition to pre-professional studios throughout Los Angeles. She regularly coaches students for the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) regional ballet competitions as both a répétiteur and choreographer, guest teaches for dance conventions in the west, teaches privately for new-to-advanced students of all ages, and is a regional Elly Award choreographic nominee.

She is a proud working member of both Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA, holds her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique’s supplemental training program for dancer health, and has amassed undergraduate work at both UCLA and Cal State LA on academic scholarships.

Born in San Francisco, Katie Rose received her advanced classical ballet training from Gelsey Kirkland, David Howard, Alaine Haubert, Nicole Harlan, and The Sacramento Ballet. She is a twin, a photographer, and (still) wants to talk with you about the final season of The Americans. Katie Rose lives and dances in Los Angeles.

Private Lessons

“The key to success in classical ballet.”

Katie Rose works every week of the year with aspiring dancers of all ages to supplement to their regular training routine, as well as with young professionals (actors and dancers) in both studio spaces and in their homes, with an emphasis on discretion for those clients seeking privacy in their coaching for a role or in their pursuit of excellence in ballet. 

Katie Rose’s private lesson rates are inclusive of all room rental fees, and can be paid per-lesson or at a discounted rate for commitments of 6 or more lessons.

Lesson are typically held at Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood or Madilyn Clark Studios in North Hollywood. If you have a studio space you prefer to utilize (including a home studio or gym), that is welcomed as well!
