Born in San Francisco, Katie Rose Cunin received her ballet training from Nicole Harlan, Gelsey Kirkland, David Howard, Wilhelm Burmann, Deirdre Hawkins, Alaine Haubert, Reid Olson, Carinne Binda, and The Sacramento Ballet.
Since 2013, she has coached students annually for the Youth America Grand Prix regional competitions in San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles, coaching students to finishes in the Top 24 Junior Classical, Top 12 Pre-Competitive Contemporary, and Top 12 Ensembles. In 2018, she was on the faculty for Impact Dance Collective in Salt Lake City. She received an Elly Award nomination for her choreography of a production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.
She currently teaches on faculty at EDGE Performing Arts Center, Studio School, and Releve Studios. Past faculty positions include RC Dance Center for 7 years (Burbank), Independence Dance Company for 6 years (NoHo), Inspire Dance Studio (La Canada Flintridge), Liv'art (NoHo), The Dance Factory (Rancho Palos Verdes), and Talent Lab (Thousand Oaks). She is a proud working member of Actors Equity and SAG-AFTRA. Katie Rose lives and dances in Los Angeles.

Katie Rose works every week of the year with aspiring dancers of all ages to supplement to their regular training routine, as well as with young professionals (actors and dancers) in both studio spaces and in their homes, with an emphasis on discretion for those clients seeking privacy in their coaching for a role or in their pursuit of excellence in ballet.
Katie Rose’s private lesson rates are inclusive of all room rental fees, and can be paid per-lesson or at a discounted rate for commitments of 6 or more lessons.
Lesson are typically held at Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood or Evolution Studios in North Hollywood. If you have a studio space you prefer to utilize (including a home studio or gym), that is welcomed as well!
